TWSE will support the “World Investor Week” by holding the “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” initiative

In response to the support for the fourth IOSCO “World Investor Week” (“WIW”) by the World Federation of Exchanges (“WFE”), the Taiwan Stock Exchange (“TWSE”) will hold a bell ringing ceremony for “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” on October 5.

 

On October 5, 2020, the TWSE will kick off the opening ceremony of “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” with drumming. Activities alongside the event include the weekly drawing for the “Online Game for Prizes” and the public award ceremony of “Campus Securities Investment Wisdom King” to recognize the contributions of cooperating schools. The TWSE has the expectation of guiding the public to actively acquire investment knowledge and enhancing their risk awareness through the promotion of accurate financial management concepts.

 

Representatives from universities and colleges will be invited to attend the event. The Chairman of the TWSE, Jan-Yau Hsu, will host the opening ceremony with distinguished guests present, to witness the “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” initiative. This demonstrates the unceasing efforts of the TWSE in investor education and risk awareness enhancement.
