TWSE Enhances ETF Primary Market Infrastructure Through Platform Upgrades

In response to the continued growth of Taiwan's ETF market, TWSE is enhancing its ETF primary market infrastructure by upgrading the ETF Creation and Redemption Platform. On July 13, 2026, TWSE launched a new bulk upload function, enabling securities investment trust enterprises (SITEs) to upload files for all listed ETFs in a single submission while retaining the existing individual upload option. This enhancement reduces repetitive operational tasks, improves the efficiency of ETF creation and redemption processes, and supports the expanding number of ETF products.

Since its launch in 2004, the platform has served as a centralized operational hub connecting SITEs and participating dealers (PDs). Following feedback from domestic and foreign market participants, TWSE also upgraded the platform's transmission network on April 30, 2026, improving transmission efficiency.

Looking ahead, TWSE will continue promoting standardized application forms, exploring electronic document transmission among market participants, and developing additional value-added services to further improve efficiency, standardization, and digitalization while strengthening Taiwan's ETF market infrastructure and supporting sustainable market development.
