PJ Asset Management was removed from the Stewardship Principles signatory list

The purpose of the “Stewardship Principles for Institutional Investors” is to guide institutional investors to make good use of shareholders' influence. It should be applied in the investment process when evaluating the risks and performances of the investee company in the aspects of environment, society and corporate governance. As well as enhancing the long-term value of both sides by promoting the sustainable development of the investee company through constructive communication, interaction and cooperation.

 

The signatory PJ Asset Management Co., Ltd recently rationalized its disputed investment behavior in the name of the signatory of the Stewardship Principles. This behavior violated the spirit and meaning of stewardship for an institutional investor. Thus the Taiwan Stock Exchange convened the Advisory Committee on the Stewardship Principles for Institutional Investors, and the PJ Asset Management was removed from the stewardship principle signatory list after the resolution.
