TWSE will hold the “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” ceremony to draw the public’s attention on investor education and protection

In October, the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (the “TWSE”), along with other members of the World Federation of Exchanges is going to run the “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” ceremony to support the World Investor Week (the “WIW”).

Organized by International Organization of Securities Commissions, the WIW is a week-long, worldwide campaign aiming to raise people’s awareness about the importance of investor education and protection, and to highlight the various initiatives of securities regulators in these two critical areas.

In conjunction with the campus financial lecture hosted by the TWSE and the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (the “TABF”), the ceremony will start at 14:00 CST on 20 October in National Dong Hwa University. At the event, the TWSE president, Chien, Lih-Chung, the TABF chairman, Wu, Chung-Shu and a Dong Hwa University representative will drum together to remind the importance of financial literacy.
