Three New ETFs Launched on the TWSE
The TWSE has provided the investors with more diversified ETF products. In addition to the ETF that tracks Brent Crude ER Futures Index, Paradigm Asset Management issued the Leveraged and Inverse ETFs tracking Brent Crude 2X Leveraged ER Futures Index and Brent Crude 1X Inverse ER Futures Index, listed on November 16. Moreover, Fubon Asset Management also issued the first ETF based on U.S. Preferred Stock Index, listed on November 29.

The AUM of ETFs on the TWSE has demonstrated an increasing trend since 2013. As of the end of October 2017, there are 95 ETFs listed on the TWSE with total AUM of 306 billion NTD.
- Trading Value
The trading value of TWSE ETFs increased significantly in 2015, following the issuance of the leverage and inverse ETFs. The ETF trading value accounted for nearly 10% of the total market at the end of 2016. As of the end of October 2017, it accounts for 4.78%.
