TWSE ETF Market Overview

  1. TWSE Wins “the Best ETF Stock Exchange” award

        TWSE has won the “Best ETF Stock Exchange” regional award in the 2019 Best of the Best Awards organized by Asia Asset Management, a Hong Kong-based journal commencing publication in 1995.
        The “Best ETF Stock Exchange” was the only regional award presented to stock exchanges in the Asia Pacific region. The winner was selected mainly based on criteria including the exchange’s ETF trading activity, the year-on-year growth, and product diversification. The panel of judges also took into account the exchange’s performance in promoting ETF product innovation, improving trading mechanisms, facilitating investor participation, and boosting sustained market growth.
        TWSE also clinched the “Best ETF Stock Exchange” awarded by Asia Asset Management in 2016, and has been highly recognized for its outstanding achievement and continuous devotion to Taiwan’s ETF market.

    The AUM of ETFs on the TWSE has demonstrated a continuous increasing trend since 2013. As of the end of March 2019, there were 118 ETFs listed on the TWSE with a total AUM of NTD 408 billion.
  4. Trading Info
    As of the end of March 2019, the ETF average daily trading value was 9.09 billion. Also, the ETF trading value accounts for 8.39% of the total trading value on the TWSE.
