The Taiwan Monthly
ESG
The 2025 sustainable disclosure practice training and advocacy meeting commences on March 20
To continuously assist listed companies in improving their perspectives and capabilities on sustainable governance and achieve sustainable development goals, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) has commissioned the Securities and Futures Institute to hold three “Sustainable Disclosure Practice Training and Advocacy Meeting for TWSE and TPEx Listed Companies” sessions on March 20 and 21 in Taipei, March 27 and 28 in Kaohsiung, and May 28 and 29 in Taichung, respectively. All companies are welcome to seize the opportunity to register for this event.
This event, aimed at addressing the needs of directors and corporate governance executives in various aspects of sustainable governance, will be organized in two formats: practical training courses and advocacy meetings. The practical training course, targeted at corporate governance executives and senior managers, will be led by an experienced team who will explain the “Guidelines for the Preparation of Sustainability Reports and Disclosure of Major Topics”, and use the “Auxiliary Function for Sustainability Reports Production” ESG digital platform for practical execution of sustainability matters. In addition, professionals and scholars from the industry and representatives from the TWSE will be specially invited to the advocacy meeting to give keynote speeches on topics including “Action Plan for Sustainable Development of TWSE and TPEx Listed Companies and Recent ESG Promotion Measures,” “Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Management Advocacy,” “Green Securities Certification System,” and “Experience Sharing of the Sustainable Development Committee.” Directors and corporate governance executives of TWSE and TPEx listed companies will also be invited to participate in these sessions, and we hope that this event will provide diverse resources for exchange, promoting Taiwan’s capital market to move towards sustainability transformation and integrate with the international community.
Online registration for this event opens at 9:00 AM on March 5, and the registration process will be conducted via the QR code system. The registration deadline is 2 days before each session and on a first-come-first-served basis, and all directors, independent directors, corporate governance executives, and senior managers of all listed companies are welcome to actively register for this event.
