New "Key Financial and Transaction Information Section" of MOPS online as of 12/30/2021

There were nine past MOPS indicators in the “Key Financials Section" , and the 9th indicator contained multiple detailed items. Given its complexity in having financial and transaction information, the TWSE has redesigned the Section into three aspects. The renamed "Key Financial and Transaction Information Section" has been online since 12/30/2021.

 

1. Clarified definition: "Key Financials Section" has been renamed "Key Financial and Transaction Information Section". The original indicators have been distinguished according to its attributes, divided into "Financial Information" and "Transaction Information".
2. Content enrichment: to enhance investor indicator knowledge,  the reason for and disclosure of altered trading or suspended trading, along with summary tables having been added.
3. Inquiry convenience: Provide users with multiple query methods, and optimize the browsing interface to facilitate users to read.

 

The TWSE has amended the "Principles for Handling Information Disclosure on the Key Financials Section of the Market Observation Post System."  The focus of the amendment is to rename the “Key Financials Section to “Key Financial and Transaction Information Section.  The indicators have been reassigned and differentiated into their respective sections.

 

The "Key Financial and Transaction Information Section" provides a compilation of financial and transaction information. This is for users' easy reference, and to remind and alert investors, plus reinforce early-warning functions. Investors shall still carefully review the information related to the financial operations of each such company in MOPS prior to investing.
