TWSE will hold the “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” ceremony to draw the public’s attention on investor education and protection

In October, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (the “TWSE”), along with other members of the World Federation of Exchanges, will hold the “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” ceremony to support the World Investor Week (the “WIW”).

Organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions, the WIW is a week-long, worldwide campaign aiming to raise people’s awareness about the importance of investor education and protection, and to highlight the various initiatives of securities regulators in these two critical areas.

In conjunction with the campus financial lecture hosted by the TWSE and the Securities and Futures Institute (the “SFI”), the ceremony will start at 10:00 CST at 4 October in National Tung Hai University. At the event, the TWSE President, Chien, Lih-Chung, the SFI Chairman, Lin, Bing-Huei and a Tung Hai University representative will drum together to drive the importance of financial literacy.
