The Taiwan Stock Exchange will shorten the auction interval for intraday odd-lot trading

In order to provide individuals with affordable and sustainable financial services and achieve the spirit of inclusive finance, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (the TWSE) launched intraday odd-lot trading on October 26, 2020.

So as to promote the liquidity of intraday odd-lot trading and consider the time for investors to prudently place orders, the TWSE will shorten the auction interval for intraday odd-lot trading from three minutes to one minute starting from December 19, 2022, which enhances the trading opportunities and efficiency of the intraday odd lot trading in the further.
