The provision of the "Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation Key Points for Classifying and Adjusting Categories of Industries of Listed Companies " is amended and takes effect on July 3, 2023

The provision of the "Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation Key Points for Classifying and Adjusting Categories of Industries of Listed Companies " is amended and takes effect on July 3, 2023. The list of sector reclassifications of listed companies will be announced separately.

 

In order to cater to the rapidly change of new technology and the sustainable business model, the Taiwan Stock Exchange has added four new industrial categories, including「Green Energy and Environmental Services」, 「Digital and Cloud Services」, 「Sports and Leisure」and「Household」, and 「Tourism」 has been renamed 「Tourism and Hospitality」. This adjustment would highlight companies with unique characteristics and attract various international start-ups to list on the TWSE.

 

In addition to strengthen our market promotion, the TWSE will carry out related supporting operations, such as optimizing the computer information system, compiling indices, and more.
