Taiwan and Japan Asset Managers and Securities Firms Gather at Taiwan-Japan ETF Forum to Connect Capital Markets through ETFs

As cross-border ETF linkages between Taiwan and Japan continue to deepen, investors in both markets are gaining broader access to each other’s capital markets. On September 1, 2026, the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and Daiwa Securities jointly hosted the inaugural Taiwan-Japan ETF Forum, with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) joining as a co-organizer. The Forum brought together nearly 30 leading asset managers and securities firms from Taiwan and Japan to discuss key topics including cross-border ETF issuance plans, product design and launch strategies, investor education, and distribution channels. The event provided a platform for market participants from both sides to build connections, explore potential collaboration opportunities, and identify new avenues for the development of the two markets.
